I was in college, going to class, getting decently good grades, studying business, and most nights I would go out drinking with my friends. It was alright, but there was something missing from my life.
In 2012, during my last year of college, I was thinking hard about what to do as a career, and nothing was coming. So I started to read.
I stumbled through a random audiobook on an Audible free trial.
I experienced a book for the first time in my life, and after that I was hooked. That year I read 237 other books, including one by Seth Godin called Tribes. Then, I took his advice to start expressing ideas in writing, and it turned into this site.
Since the blog started, I’ve accomplished a decent amount of life goals: gotten a job in New York City, slept on the street, I learned guitar in 12 days, I got over 3,000 views on a Youtube video, made a whole bunch of friends in a new city, and that was all in the first year.
I blog here for accountability, and to inspire you to do the same.
So, who do you want to be?
