Following the Rules

Why wouldn’t you follow up with a potential customer?

Hey, here’s a video about how when you’re at a networking event or pitching your product, how important it is to follow up with the people you talk to, and actually make the sale.

In the vid I tell the story of one company that did a really bad job at following up, and I never bought anything even though they seemed to deliver a lot of value during the pitch, and another company who delivered a little less value but I actually ended up buying lots of clothes from them, just because they followed up.

Check out this video, and let me know what you think in the comments.

Thanks for watching! If you liked it, make sure to go to YouTube and click the like button because you want to encourage people to make good videos. If you didn’t like it, go to Youtube and click dislike because it’s good to fail sometimes.

If you sell a product, pitch a startup, or talk to people at all in a group setting, and they express interest in what you’re doing, follow up and close the deal.

The rejection rates going to be a lot lower, and there’s nothing to be afraid of, so just do it. There’s no reason not to.

P.S. Here’s a picture of Gumby dressed like Fred Astaire. It’s probably against copyright law to put this here:
